New Future Leadership Visits Pyeongsan Village
Representative Jeon Byeongheon: "We Will Fight at the Forefront"
The leadership of Saeroun Mirae visited Pyeongsan Village in Yangsan, Gyeongnam on the afternoon of the 29th to pay a courtesy call on former President Moon Jae-in.
Jeon Byeong-heon, representative of Saeroun Mirae, met with former President Moon and said, "The pan-opposition camp is divided and in a difficult situation, but we will play a major role in stopping the Yoon Seok-yeol administration's tyranny." Representative Jeon defined the prosecution's investigation into the appointment process of former lawmaker Lee Sang-jik as chairman of the Small and Medium Business Corporation during the Moon Jae-in administration as "unjust political retaliation and a targeted investigation," emphasizing, "We will take the lead in fighting this."
Former President Moon said, "I hope Saeroun Mirae will become a productive foundation in the upcoming changes in the political landscape," and "I expect the pan-opposition camp to play a significant role in checking the Yoon Seok-yeol administration's tyranny," Saeroun Mirae reported. The Saeroun Mirae leadership also visited the Bongha Village in Gimhae, Gyeongnam, to pay respects at the tomb of former President Roh Moo-hyun.
The day before, Saeroun Mirae held an event at the central party office in Yeouido, Seoul, to hang photos of former Presidents Kim Dae-jung, Roh Moo-hyun, and Moon Jae-in, claiming, "The Democratic Party has degenerated into a 'Lee Jae-myung one-man regime,' 'one-person idolization,' and a 'Lee Jae-myung shield' party," and "The Democratic Party no longer deserves to display the portraits of the three presidents." They added, "Saeroun Mirae, as the legitimate democratic force, will display the photos of these two leaders in the party representative's office, symbolizing the inheritance of 'Kim Dae-jung's spirit, Roh Moo-hyun's values, and Moon Jae-in's achievements'."
