Applications Open Until the 26th of Next Month for Local SMEs
Key Support Projects Include Bonus Points and Tax Audit Deferrals
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced by the 29th that it will recruit '2024 Excellent Job Creation Companies' until the 26th of next month to encourage local companies to expand employment.
The application target is companies that have had their headquarters, branches, or factories in Yongin for more than one year and have been operating normally for more than two years. They must be small and medium-sized enterprises with 5 to fewer than 300 employees, meeting the criteria of an employment growth rate of 5% or more and an increase in employment of 3 to 5 or more people.
The selection criteria include management soundness, employment increase, employment environment and stability, and a comprehensive evaluation of achievements in hiring local talent and vulnerable employment groups. Selected companies will be awarded a certificate and plaque as excellent job creation companies. They will receive additional points for participation in youth job projects and other corporate job projects, priority opportunities and extra points for participation in corporate support projects. Benefits such as one-year exemption from parking fees at the city’s traditional market parking lots and public parking lots, and a one-year deferral of local tax audits will also be provided.
Companies wishing to be certified can apply by sending an email to the person in charge or by registered mail to the City Hall Job Policy Division. For more details, refer to the announcement on the Yongin City Hall website.
Previously, the city selected 13 companies in 2018, 6 companies in 2019, 14 companies in 2020, 7 companies in 2021, 4 companies in 2022, and 9 companies in 2023 as excellent job creation companies.
A city official said, "We will continue to actively discover excellent job creation companies, foster an atmosphere of hiring local talent, and increase benefits so that quality jobs can increase."
