The story of a junior writer at a broadcasting station who was shocked by the waiting room used by idols has become a hot topic. Recently, a post titled "I swore in the idol waiting room" written by A, who identified themselves as a broadcasting station writer, has been spreading on social networking services (SNS) and online communities.

A said, "It started with a scream. The assistant director who went with me to clean the waiting room used by the performer sat down with a scream as soon as they opened the door," adding, "At that time, the assistant director was horrified and said, 'Writer, doesn't this smell like feces?' and I also cursed instinctively." "At first, I thought I had mistaken the smell, so I sniffed like crazy as if possessed by a dog. This was clearly a rotten smell," they said. "The waiting room usually smells bad, but this was beyond bad; it seemed like someone had defecated," they described.

They continued, "I wore two layers of masks and tore apart everything from the wardrobe to the bookshelf, chairs, and even the sofa where the singer had been sitting. The moment I sniffed the sofa cushion, intending to throw away my nose, an unidentified white lump came out from behind the sofa. I desperately prayed it wasn’t feces," they revealed. The source of the smell was the "unidentified white lump," which turned out to be a white short-sleeved T-shirt of a male idol singer who recently used the waiting room.

They said, "I thought it was pickled vegetables. I don’t know why they aged it in the waiting room. I sealed it forever in a garbage bag," adding, "You might be curious about what exactly causes the bad smell in the waiting room. While there may be illusions about idols, idols are ultimately human too."

They also added, "Idols eat too, right? The smell of food waste like malatang, tteokbokki, and chicken is overwhelming," and "Spray is essential during hair and makeup, but combined with sweat smell, it adds up," they added.
