Korea Racing Authority Busan Dong-gu Branch Donates 10 Million Won for Supplies to Vulnerable Groups

5 Million Won Each for Healthy Discharge and Lucky Box Support for Patients

The Busan Dong-gu branch of the Korea Racing Authority (Branch Manager Park Heetae) delivered a donation of 10 million KRW on the 22nd to the Busan Community Chest of Korea's "Healthy Discharge Patient Package and Lucky Box Support Project for Coping with High Prices."

The donation ceremony, held at the office of the Busan Community Chest of Korea, was attended by Park Heetae, Branch Manager of the Busan Dong-gu branch; Jin Heejung, Director of the Welfare Policy Division at Dong-gu District Office; Jo Yoonyoung, Civilian Chairperson of the Dong-gu Community Security Council; Park Sunwook, Secretary General of the Busan Community Chest of Korea; and about 10 other related officials.

This donation was prepared to assist low-income discharged patients and vulnerable groups in the Dong-gu area of Busan. Of the donation, 5 million KRW will be used to provide emergency daily necessities packages, and another 5 million KRW will be used to support lucky boxes containing food and essential items. It is expected that this will help vulnerable residents whose household lives have become difficult due to the prolonged economic downturn following COVID-19.

The Busan Dong-gu branch is carrying out various social contribution activities to provide practical help to local residents and contribute to regional development. These include supporting Onnuri gift certificates for the underprivileged, sharing Kimjang Kimchi of Love, providing heating supplies, supporting daily necessities for low-income children’s families, and offering training for job creation for young and middle-aged adults, thereby spreading warmth throughout the community.
