Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Holds Award Ceremony for 334 Retired Teachers

The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 28th that it held the '2024 August End Retiring Teachers Award Ceremony' in the main conference room of the government building.

The recipients of this government award and ministerial commendation are 334 teachers from kindergarten, elementary, and secondary education. The 334 awarded teachers were recognized for their dedication and contributions to the field of education.

The number of recipients includes ▲19 awarded the Hwangjo Geunjeong Medal ▲65 awarded the Hongjo Geunjeong Medal ▲110 awarded the Nokjo Geunjeong Medal ▲99 awarded the Okjo Geunjeong Medal ▲27 awarded the Geunjeong Medal ▲2 awarded the Presidential Citation ▲5 awarded the Prime Minister's Citation ▲7 awarded the Minister's Citation.

Superintendent Kim Dae-jung said, “I express my respect and gratitude to the awardees who have excellently fulfilled their duties as educators and are facing a new beginning,” adding, “I ask for your continued interest and applause so that Jeonnam education can continue to advance as a leading K-Edu representative of the Republic of Korea.”
