Busan National University (President Choi Jaewon) announced on the 28th that it dispatched the "34th Busan National University Industry-Academic Cooperation Overseas Volunteer Group" (led by Professor Seo Jimin of the Department of Trade) to Wat Maha Pruttharam School, a high school in Bangkok, Thailand, where they carried out volunteer activities for 15 days from the 13th to the 27th.

After three months of preparation, Busan National University sent 34 volunteers to Wat Maha Pruttharam School in Bangkok. The group provided educational volunteer services such as teaching Korean language, Korean songs, K-Pop dance, traditional art, Taekwondo, and 3D printer and Arduino classes. They also worked on improving the educational environment by making blackboards and painting murals for the Korean language classroom.

On the 22nd, the group held a street performance at the Lido Center in Bangkok, which was attended by many students, citizens, and tourists from around the world. Busan National University presented a one-hour performance featuring Taekwondo dance, K-Pop dance, Korean songs, and Taekwondo breaking demonstrations.

The volunteer group also completed murals on both side walls of the local school's Korean language classroom and newly made blackboards and cabinets, allowing students to study in a better environment.

The Busan National University volunteers expressed their gratitude to the local students who eagerly participated despite their limited teaching, and the local students, in turn, thanked the volunteers for their passionate guidance, shedding tears as they bid farewell.

Previously, the Korean Education Center in Thailand, while promoting relocation and expansion to establish and operate a student recruitment center, requested Busan National University’s help in improving the educational environment, including classroom murals, blackboard, and bookshelf production. In response, Busan National University first dispatched a mural volunteer group for 10 days in July, who completed murals themed around the Taegeukgi on three classroom walls.

Three members from Jangin Architecture Design, who participated as talent donors, also made blackboards and bookshelves and donated them to the Korean Education Center in Thailand.
