The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 28th that it will supply an additional 327 units across 6 complexes of long-term lease housing II for newlyweds under the name "My Home in Advance."

The largest supply of 216 units is at Lotte Castle Eastpole in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu. This complex offers a variety of sizes ranging from 59 to 82㎡ of exclusive area. It is conveniently located adjacent to Guui Station on Subway Line 2, making transportation easy.
Near Munjeong Station on Subway Line 8, Hillstate e-Pyeonhansesang Munjeong offers 35 units of 49㎡ exclusive area. The area is densely populated with large apartment complexes, providing convenient living infrastructure.
Additionally, ▲ 33 units at Centreville Asterium Signature in Yeokchon-dong, Eunpyeong-gu ▲ 18 units at Hillstate Gwanak Centciel in Bongcheon-dong, Gwanak-gu ▲ 16 units at Hoban Summit Gaebong in Gaebong-dong, Guro-gu ▲ 9 units at Lotte Castle Twin Gold in Gireum-dong, Seongbuk-gu will be supplied.
The lease deposit ranges from a minimum of 220 million KRW (Hoban Summit 49㎡) to a maximum of 600 million KRW (Lotte Castle Eastpole 82㎡). The announcement for tenant recruitment will be made on the 30th of this month, and applications will be accepted over two days from the 11th to the 12th of next month. Tenant recruitment details can be found on the Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH) website.
The second version of the long-term lease housing "SHift," called "Long-term Lease Housing II," has been renamed "My Home in Advance" to signify that if a family has two or more children, they can purchase the house they have been living in at 10-20% below market price after 20 years.
Eligible applicants are newlyweds who have registered their marriage within 7 years from the date of registration or prospective newlyweds who plan to register their marriage within 6 months from the announcement date. Both spouses must not have owned a house within 5 years as of the announcement date.
Last month, when tenant recruitment was first conducted at Olympic Park Foreon in Dunchon-dong, Gangdong-gu, 17,929 applications were submitted for 300 units, recording an average competition rate of 60 to 1.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government plans to proceed with the third supply by December this year. Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon said, "Low birthrate has become an urgent national issue in Korea," and added, "We will focus all our efforts on solving housing problems so that newlyweds who want to marry and have children do not have to worry about 'housing issues'."
