B큐AI Partners with Kolon Benit in AI Sector

BQ AI is joining a large-scale artificial intelligence (AI) alliance with more than 60 participating companies.

On the 28th, BQ AI announced that it signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Kolon Benit, an IT service specialist company of the Kolon Group, for AI technology cooperation and participation in the AI alliance.

Starting from this agreement, BQ AI plans to actively exchange with Kolon Benit to maximize industrial synergy in the AI and network fields, while jointly developing new AI solutions that can be practically applied in the field.

BQ AI will participate in the AI alliance led by Kolon Benit as the sole original data provider for AI training and as a data preprocessing business operator. Through this, BQ AI has secured numerous friendly partner companies for conducting AI-related businesses.

Since its launch in June this year, the Kolon Benit AI Alliance has attracted participation from about 60 innovative AI technology, solution, and infrastructure specialist companies. The rapid scale expansion is due to Kolon Benit's establishment of a broad network across multiple global vendors and industries such as manufacturing, finance, fashion, and construction through over 30 years of IT distribution business. Kolon Benit focuses on appliance packaging configurations that allow customers to propose AI easily and quickly, as well as discovering cooperation cases through concretizing customer requirements.

Im Kyunghwan, CEO of BQ AI, said, “By combining the company’s vast original data and AI technology capabilities with Kolon Benit’s network and business strategy, we will solidify a leading position in the domestic AI market.” He emphasized, “Since BQ AI provides clean data with all legal risks, including copyrights, resolved, we also plan to actively promote a ‘Clean Data Campaign’ using legal data with alliance participants.”

BQ AI is the largest domestic AI training ‘Media Content Provider (MCP).’ It receives over 200,000 news data items daily from about 3,000 domestic and international partners and provides refined, high-quality datasets that generative AI can learn from through proprietary preprocessing technology. As of August, the cumulative data volume has exceeded 600 million items.
