A heartwarming story has gained attention about a young man about to enlist who received a warm 'handwritten letter' at a restaurant.
On the 26th, an online community called 'FM Korea' posted a message titled "I ordered milmyeon for lunch with a friend."
The author, Mr. A, who is about to enlist, said, "I asked the owner to make it delicious as it was my last delivery meal before enlistment, and I was touched when I saw the note," sharing a photo.
In the photo, a handwritten letter, presumably written by the owner, is attached to the food container. The letter reads, "Stay healthy! Return safely! Thank you for fulfilling your duty to national defense." At the end, the salute phrase "Chungseong" (Loyalty) is also written.
Mr. A said, "Beyond the service, this one note is very touching."
Netizens who read the story responded with comments such as "The handwritten letter is very touching," "That guarantees a lifelong regular customer," "Where is this place? I want to support them financially," "Please stay safe and come back well," "I wish there were more people like this," "Such a heartwarming story," "They must put their heart into the food too," and "The owner’s heart and handwriting are beautiful."
