Workshop on Strengthening Performance Management of Pension Business at Private School Teachers' Pension Institute Photo
The Private School Teachers' Pension Service announced on the 27th that it held the '2024 Pension Business Performance Management Workshop' at Naju Forest Center in Jeonnam to strengthen management evaluation performance management and promote communication and cooperation among employees of the Pension Business Headquarters.
A total of 33 people from 13 departments, including the head of the Pension Business Headquarters and managers and staff responsible for key business performance management, attended the workshop. Starting with a special lecture by an expert to enhance performance creation capabilities, the agenda included ▲ reviewing the pension business performance for the first half of this year ▲ feedback on last year's management evaluation results and discussion on performance creation plans for the second half ▲ presentations to discover excellent projects by business within the Pension Business Headquarters, followed by expert critiques.
Through the expert lecture on management evaluation, the Service increased understanding of the key directions for the second half of the year and conducted mutual feedback on ongoing tasks within each team. Ideas were also generated through team presentations, such as expanding the digital transformation of the loan service linked to the electronic guarantee system and strategic promotional plans to revitalize the social sharing fund for retired teachers.
Song Hajung, the Director of the Service, said, “Based on the various project ideas and departmental collaboration opportunities derived from this workshop, we plan to more effectively improve and develop pension and welfare services from the customer's perspective.” He added, “We will continue to create opportunities for exchange and cooperation to achieve continuous performance for stable pension management and the welfare enhancement of teachers.”
