KT Online Plan 'Yogo Season 2' Launches... "OTT Included as Standard"

KT announced on the 27th that it will launch the online no-contract plan 'Yogo Season 2'. 'Yogo' is an online-only plan launched by KT in January, offering a total of 13 tiers ranging from a minimum of 30,000 KRW to a maximum of 69,000 KRW.

In 'Yogo Season 2', all plan tiers come with basic online video service (OTT) benefits. Yogo Season 2 provides the 'Tving Ad-Supported Standard' OTT benefit by default for 11 plans ranging from 'Yogo 30' (30,000 KRW/month) to 'Yogo 55' (55,000 KRW/month). Depending on the plan, users can enjoy these benefits free of charge for a minimum of 6 months up to 24 months.

For users subscribing to the 60,000 KRW-level 'Yogo 69' and 'Yogo 61' plans, they can choose one OTT service among ▲Tving Basic ▲Disney+ Standard ▲YouTube Premium (an additional 5,000 KRW fee applies if selected) and use it for 24 months. As additional content benefits, users can select one among ▲Genie Music ▲Millie’s Library ▲Blythe to use free of charge for 24 months. The 'Yogo 69' plan allows users to select up to two OTT services from ▲Tving Basic ▲Disney+ Standard ▲YouTube Premium.

The 'Yogo 69, 61, 55' plans offer the option to receive electronic devices such as smartwatches or tablets for free or purchase them at a discount instead of OTT benefits. Additionally, using a smart device?exclusive plan provides a discount of up to 11,000 KRW per line.

KT’s wired and wireless bundle discounts such as 'Total Amount Bundle Discount' and 'Y-kiri Wireless Bundle' can also be applied additionally. For example, using the Y-kiri Wireless Bundle offers a discount starting from 3,300 KRW per month depending on the plan tier, and using the Total Amount Bundle Discount can provide an additional discount of up to 11,000 KRW per month depending on the plan tier.

Existing benefits such as 'KT Membership VIP Grade' are maintained. Users subscribing to the 'Yogo 40' plan or higher (around 40,000 KRW/month) are granted KT Membership VIP status. From 'Yogo 55' and above, the VIP Choice benefit of 'free movie ticket' is upgraded from 1 ticket to 2 tickets.

When opening a phone or USIM with the Yogo plan on KT.com, a 'Coupon Pack Benefit' is provided, offering vouchers for services like Baedal Minjok and Naver Pay for up to 24 months. By selecting the desired usage, vouchers worth 1,500 to 4,000 KRW per month are provided according to the monthly fee. Using 'Yogo 69' allows users to receive OTT and content benefits such as 'Tving Basic + Disney Plus Standard + Millie’s Library' plus the Coupon Pack (4,000 KRW), totaling benefits worth more than 33,000 KRW per month.

Meanwhile, users who subscribed to 'Yogo Season 1' until the previous day can change their plan to 'Yogo Season 2' through the official online channel KT.com.
