Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) will hold an orchestra performance, "Ghibli Concert," on September 10th at the Konkuk University Millennium Hall Grand Theater.

The concert features classical performances of OSTs from the works of world-renowned animation director Hayao Miyazaki. The warm and emotional melodies evoke scenes from the films, offering a nostalgic experience.

The program includes 16 pieces. Audiences can enjoy orchestral renditions of representative works from Studio Ghibli such as "Princess Mononoke," "Howl's Moving Castle," "Spirited Away," "My Neighbor Totoro," and "Kiki's Delivery Service."

The stage will be led by conductor Lee Tam-gu with the Prime Philharmonic Orchestra. Violinist Kim Young-ki, oboist Kim Ye-hyun, and cellist Yoon Seok-woo will perform as soloists, while soprano Lee Hanna's voice adds beauty. During the performance, the conductor will guide the audience on how to appreciate the music, creating an interactive experience.

The concert will run for two hours starting at 7 p.m. Admission is free for all seats, with 794 general seats and 11 wheelchair seats available. Anyone residing, working, or studying in Gwangjin-gu can participate.

All tickets were sold out on the first day of reservation, the 26th, showing great enthusiasm among residents. However, in case of cancellations, tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations for canceled tickets can be made through the Seoul Public Service Reservation System.

Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "This is a great opportunity to experience the beloved works of Studio Ghibli through music," adding, "I hope this becomes a precious time that gifts adults with childhood innocence and children with dreams and happiness."
