On the 26th, the People Power Party appointed Go Dong-jin, a key figure in the 'Galaxy Myth' and former CEO of Samsung Electronics (first-term, Seoul Gangnam-byeong), as the head of the Talent Recruitment Committee.

Additionally, Jo Bae-sook (five-term, proportional representation) was appointed as the chairperson of the Honam Accompaniment Special Committee, and Oh Shin-hwan, former Deputy Mayor for Political Affairs of Seoul, was appointed as the chairperson of the Capital Region Vision Special Committee.

The People Power Party plans to expand its outreach in weaker demographics and regions such as youth, the capital area, and Honam through these three committees.

In a meeting with reporters at the National Assembly, Representative Jo said, "Honam is particularly a difficult area for the People Power Party, and this imbalance needs to be resolved," adding, "We will strive to increase our party's support in the Honam region."

Former Deputy Mayor Oh also stated, "After three consecutive general election losses and three consecutive losses in the capital region, we need to deeply consider what the problems were and what countermeasures we have," and added, "The special committee will do its best to play a role in expanding the People Power Party's outreach in the capital area."

Han Dong-hoon, leader of the People Power Party, said at a press briefing that "Now is the time to strengthen our party's substance and constitution," explaining, "Since an election is not imminent, it is important to solidify our constitution and policies."

Meanwhile, Ju Jin-woo (first-term, Busan Haeundae-gap), who is leading the party's task force responding to the fast-track trial, was appointed as the chairperson of the Legal Advisory Committee.
