President Yoon Suk-yeol will hold a dinner meeting with the ruling party leadership, including People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon, on the 30th to discuss major national issues.

According to the ruling party on the 26th, President Yoon plans to invite Leader Han, Supreme Council members Jang Dong-hyeok, Kim Jae-won, In Yo-han, Kim Min-jeon, Kim Jong-hyeok, Jin Jong-oh, Floor Leader Chu Kyung-ho, and Policy Committee Chair Kim Sang-hoon for the dinner on the 30th.

This meeting marks the first dinner gathering in about a month since the one held on the 24th of last month, the day after the People Power Party's party convention, when President Yoon invited Leader Han and other candidates for the leadership race to the Fine Grass at the Presidential Office.

Earlier, on the 30th of last month, President Yoon met with Leader Han at the Yongsan Presidential Office for about an hour and a half. At that time, President Yoon said, "Once the party appointments are finalized and the leadership is organized, I will invite you to the residence for dinner." Since the formation of Han Dong-hoon's leadership team has been completed, this dinner is interpreted as fulfilling that promise.

During this meeting, President Yoon and the ruling party leadership are expected to discuss major national issues ahead of the regular National Assembly session in September. It is also anticipated that they will discuss the '4+1 Reform' plan, which includes responses to low birth rates along with the four major reforms in pensions, healthcare, education, and labor that President Yoon will soon announce in a national briefing.
