Ilwol and Yeongheung Arboretums in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, will open at night.
On the 26th, Suwon City announced that from September 6 to October 26, it will hold the "Night Walk" program every Friday and Saturday until 9:30 PM.
During this period, Suwon City will operate special walking programs such as listening to insect sounds and stargazing, as well as various experience programs like making cheongsachorong lanterns and glow-in-the-dark flowerpots.
Before the night operation, Suwon Arboretum carried out night lighting improvement work by installing landscape lighting in the park and other areas.
A Suwon City official said, "We have prepared a time to enjoy the autumn arboretum night view for citizens who suffered from the heat," and added, "We hope people create memories with their loved ones by enjoying various programs such as walks in the charming night arboretum."
