"Planning to Move to Pyeongchang-dong This Fall"
"Moving to Live More Diligently"

Lee Hyori and Lee Sangsoon couple are finishing their life in Jeju and preparing a new home in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. On the 25th, Edaily reported that last August, they purchased a single-family house and an adjacent plot of land in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, for 6.05 billion KRW in full cash payment. The couple has previously shared news about moving from Jeju to Seoul several times. On the 22nd, Lee Sangsoon appeared on the YouTube channel 'TteunTteun' and said, "We are moving to Seoul," adding, "We will go to Seoul around autumn, and after that, there are plans for performances. It is difficult to perform while in Jeju because it is physically hard to practice." He also said, "We decided to come to Seoul because we want to live more diligently, but we will always miss Jeju. We will rent out that house."

He also shared related news on Kim Beomsoo's YouTube channel, saying, "Both Hyori and I decided to return to our hometowns to focus on our main work and live diligently." He added, "Of course, living hard in Jeju is also a great thing, but it is very tough. There is too much to do. For example, don't people dream of living in a country house? But there is too much outdoor work. You have to mow the grass all the time," expressing his difficulties, but also said, "I think it was very fortunate to have experienced that kind of life in the countryside while young."

Pyeongchang-dong recently confirmed the relaxation of height regulations in the high-altitude district. The height limit has been eased from 20m to 24m (and up to 28m if relaxed), and when redevelopment or other maintenance projects are pursued, buildings can be constructed up to a maximum of 45m after city review according to Seoul's landscape management guidelines.

In Pyeongchang-dong, actors Choi Soo-jong and Ha Hee-ra couple, Yoo Hae-jin, Kim Hye-soo, Youn Yuh-jung, broadcaster Hong Jin-kyung, and singer Yoon Jong-shin have settled. Hong Jin-kyung said, "These days, places like Yongsan or Banpo are too expensive. In Seongsu, a 50-pyeong apartment costs several billion won. Pyeongchang-dong is not at that level," and commented on housing prices, "In the past, this price was for an expensive house. But unlike other places that rise rapidly, here the price remains steady, continuing the old price level."
