Haewoldang Expands to Daegu, Hires 14 Young People in Dong-gu District as Bakers and Baristas

Daegu Dong-gu District Office (District Mayor Yoon Seokjun) held the "Multi-Job Day" event on the 22nd in collaboration with Haewoldang Co., Ltd.

Haewoldang Co., Ltd. is a leading bakery and cafe franchise in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region, and will open its first Daegu branch, Dongchon Branch, at Haemaji Park in Dong-gu, Daegu this October. The event was held to recruit baristas, bakers, and other staff for the new Dongchon Branch.

Haewoldang held a Job Day event and hired 14 young people from the Donggu area of Daegu on site.

This event aimed to hire 20 new employees, and attracted high interest from local youth and other young job seekers, resulting in 77 participants. Four bakers and ten baristas, a total of 14 people, were hired on the spot.

Yoon Seokjun, Mayor of Daegu Dong-gu District, said, "We will continue to make efforts so that many job seekers can succeed in finding employment through customized on-site interview support services for companies."

Meanwhile, the Multi-Job Day event provides a one-stop service by holding on-site interview events whenever companies request recruitment. By July of this year, seven out of 25 interviewees were successfully employed through requests from three participating companies.
