World No. 1 Nelly Korda (USA) rose to the top with 4 birdies and no bogeys, leading at 8-under-par 136. Defending champion Lilia Vu (USA), returning from a back injury, is tied for 2nd place (5-under-par 139) with Charley Hull (England). In-Ruening (China) is 4th (4-under-par 140), and Lydia Ko (New Zealand), who was inducted into the Hall of Fame after winning the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, is tied for 5th (3-under-par 141).
Korea’s Shin Ji-ae reduced one stroke to be tied for 11th place (2-under-par 142), eyeing a rise in the upper ranks. Lim Jin-hee and Shin Ji-eun also joined this group. Lee Mi-hyang lost 2 strokes and slipped to tied 18th place (1-under-par 143). Kim Hyo-joo is tied for 21st (even par 144), Kim In-kyung tied for 36th (2-over-par 146), Yang Hee-young and Lee So-mi tied for 47th (3-over-par 147), and Kim Se-young, Choi Hye-jin, and Ahn Na-rin are tied for 60th place.
