Jeonbuk-Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Cultural and Arts Exchange Exhibition... Until September 21

Exhibition Theme: 'Jeonbuk Travel Stories of Gangwon-do Artists'

"Connecting K-Special Autonomous Provinces (Jeonbuk·Gangwon). Questioning and recording today through art."

The special exchange exhibition between Jeonbuk Special Autonomous Province (hereinafter 'Jeonbuk Province') and Gangwon Special Autonomous Province (hereinafter 'Gangwon Province'), jointly planned by the Jeonbuk Special Autonomous Province Culture and Tourism Foundation (CEO Lee Kyung-yoon, hereinafter 'the Foundation') and Art Archive (CEO Jo Boogyeong), is being held at the White Western-style House until September 21.

According to the Foundation on the 23rd, this exhibition was prepared to overcome regional limitations and expand the scope of activities between the special autonomous provinces through cultural and artistic exchange and communication.

Previously, in January, the Foundation co-planned an exhibition titled "The Mountains and Rivers of Jeonbuk and Yeongwol," with participation from Jeonju City and Yeongwol County, featuring Jeonbuk-born artist Hong Seong-mo, establishing a special connection with Gangwon Province.

To continue this special relationship, the Foundation decided to once again jointly pursue cultural exchange with Gangwon Province.

This exhibition features 15 artists based in Gangwon Province under the theme "Gangwon Artists' Journey to Jeonbuk." It is an opportunity for artists active in various fields to introduce Gangwon Province to Jeonbuk Province through their works. It will also broaden the cultural enjoyment of Jeonbuk Province residents.

The exhibition is held at the White Western-style House, a former governor's residence transformed into a complex cultural space, open to everyone, making it even more meaningful.

A Foundation official stated, "We expect this exhibition to revitalize cultural exchange between Jeonbuk and Gangwon Special Autonomous Provinces," adding, "We will prepare a platform to continuously sustain diverse cultural and artistic exchanges."

Meanwhile, the Foundation plans to promote several planned exhibitions at the White Western-style House and will continue to strengthen cooperation with other special autonomous provinces. For detailed inquiries about the exhibition, please contact the Foundation's White Western-style House.
