Government Employees Pension Service Supports Exhibition Activities of Disabled Artists

The Government Employees Pension Service announced on the 23rd that it will exhibit about 40 award-winning works from the '2024 Jeju Disabled Art Contest Kkumnarae' at the Service's exhibition hall until the 29th.


'Kkumnarae' is a planned project organized by the Seogwipo City Disabled Welfare Center to promote the cultural rights of disabled students and adults in Jeju Province, boost their creative motivation, and strengthen their visual art creative capabilities, aiming to revitalize disabled art activities. It has been held four times since 2021.

The Government Employees Pension Service provided the exhibition space to share the award-winning works selected in Kkumnarae with the local community, improving awareness of disabled cultural arts and expanding cultural enjoyment opportunities for local residents.


Meanwhile, the Government Employees Pension Service is contributing to closing the cultural gap and improving living conditions in the innovation city through various activities such as activating facility openings including auditoriums and exhibition halls to enhance public convenience, donating art supplies, exhibiting works created by local and disabled artists, and participating in the 'Every Corner Cultural Delivery (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism)' project to realize universal cultural welfare within the region.
