Navien Sleep Mat Campaign Wins Bronze Award
Kyungdong Navien announced on the 23rd that it won the main award at the global marketing communication awards, the '2024 Effie Awards.' Started in the United States in 1968, the 'Effie Awards' is a prestigious global advertising award that focuses on evaluating how much advertising campaigns contribute to achieving marketing goals, including sales.
Kyungdong Navien submitted the Navien Sleep Mat campaign in the 'Commerce & Consumer - Category/Channel Development' category and was recognized as an excellent marketing case, receiving the Bronze award. Kyungdong Navien conducted the 'Sleep, Use Technology!' campaign in September last year, coinciding with the renewal of the heated mat (Navien Sleep Mat). The campaign changed consumer perceptions of heated mats, which were previously seen as auxiliary heating devices, and newly promoted them as an essential item for healthy sleep.
Through this campaign, public interest in good sleep was raised, and tangible results were achieved. Sales of the Navien Sleep Mat increased by about 30% compared to the previous year, and the number of members registered on Dankkum Store, the marketing platform for the Sleep Mat, also increased by 56% compared to the previous year. Kim Yong-beom, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Kyungdong Navien, said, “Our efforts to promote the value of the Navien Sleep Mat have been recognized. We plan to launch an upgraded Navien Sleep Mat this year that will further improve sleep quality, and we are also planning a new campaign accordingly.”
