This project involves an investment of 9 billion KRW by the end of this year to introduce 15 types of intelligent city services in areas such as transportation, safety, and environment, and to establish an information and communication infrastructure.

The intelligent city services to be established through this project focus on resident convenience and safety, as well as the efficiency of urban management, and have been finalized through consultations with relevant agencies and meetings of the Intelligent City Project Council.

The approved intelligent city services include a total of 15 types: 8 for transportation, 2 for safety, and 3 for environment.

The main services include the installation of four intelligent (smart) bus stops and 28 bus arrival information systems to enhance transportation convenience for residents, as well as two intelligent (smart) crosswalks to support pedestrian safety.

Additionally, for resident safety, the project will install 61 security cameras (CCTV), five river flood monitoring cameras, six fine dust alert devices, and six automatic pest occurrence measurement services.

Furthermore, 30 smart (intelligent) poles equipped with cooling mist and security functions will be installed in parks to provide a comfortable environment even during summer heat waves.
