Global office software company Polaris Office announced on the 21st the launch of a new service, 'NOVA,' which enhances productivity and convenience.
This service incorporates various AI solutions based on chat functionality to provide users with improved document work productivity and convenience. A key feature is the forward placement of AI services, previously available only within documents, now accessible directly from the home screen. Notably, users can utilize various functions such as chat, document inquiry and summarization, image generation and analysis all on a single screen.
Additionally, by quickly supporting various tasks such as data search and schedule management, it performs the role of a personal AI assistant called the 'AI Agent.' It was first released on Apple operating systems (iOS) and Android on the 6th, and from today, it is also available on PC versions for Mac and Windows.
A company representative stated, “We have completed improvements to make AI easy and convenient to use within Polaris Office,” adding, “With an intuitive user interface (UI) redesigned through the home screen revamp, users will be able to experience a new level of AI services.”
They continued, “By using NOVA under the existing reasonable pricing plan, we will strive to enable users to infinitely increase information acquisition and work productivity,” emphasizing, “We will advance the AI Agent functions focused on chatbot capabilities and grow to allow various AI functions to be linked and used in a customized manner.”
Meanwhile, Polaris Office Group has established an ‘AI Convergence Research Institute’ centered on Polaris Office and appointed Vice President Lee Haeseok as the group’s AI Chief. Forming a consortium with existing affiliates Polaris Sewon and Polaris Uno, and through recently acquired Polaris AI and Polaris AI Pharma, the group is seeking synergies in the AI field applicable across various industries.
