Promoting Research and Education, Providing Practical Experience for Law School Students
Pusan National University (President Choi Jaewon) signed a business agreement with Daeryun Law Firm (Managing Attorney Kim Kukil) on the 5th floor, Meeting Room 1, of the university headquarters on the 20th.
Through this agreement, the two institutions will actively cooperate to foster outstanding legal professionals by providing Pusan National University students with opportunities to gain practical experience, supporting legal counseling, conducting joint research and academic seminars, and revitalizing research and education through special lectures and other initiatives.
At the signing ceremony, Choi Jaewon, President of Pusan National University, stated, "I hope that through this agreement, the two institutions will establish a cooperative relationship to foster outstanding legal professionals and contribute to the development of the local community."
In response, Kim Kukil, Managing Attorney of Daeryun Law Firm, said, "Daeryun has begun preparations for overseas expansion. Therefore, through this agreement, Daeryun's specialized attorneys in various fields will serve as an external legal office to meet the diverse legal needs of Pusan National University, thereby improving the quality of legal services in the region. We will also seek systematic support measures so that students who gain practical experience can grow together with Daeryun and expand globally."
Pusan National University School of Law is one of the nation’s top national law schools, providing a systematic curriculum and learning environment, and has consistently achieved top-tier results among law schools nationwide in the appointment of judicial researchers and prosecutors each year.
In 2024, Pusan National University School of Law produced nine new prosecutors, ranking second among university law schools nationwide, and also produced seven new judicial researchers, the fourth highest number. Over the past six years, 26 new judges from Pusan National University have been appointed, ranking fourth nationwide.
Daeryun currently operates 40 offices nationwide, including three in the Busan area, where it communicates with local clients.
