SOOP announced on the 20th that it has signed a title sponsorship agreement with KB Kookmin Bank's mobile communication service KB Live Mobile and the three major eSports leagues (SSL, LoL Myeolmangjeon, SLL).
First, SOOP's representative StarCraft league 'ASL' will be newly rebranded as 'SSL (SOOP Starcraft League)' and will hold its first season together with KB Live Mobile.
Next month, the 'KB Live Mobile 2024 LOL Myeolmangjeon SEASON1' will take place. Popular game streamers from AfreecaTV, a streaming platform operated by SOOP, will participate and compete in various eSports categories. Following that, SOOP's League of Legends top-tier league, 'KB Live Mobile 2024 SLL WINTER (tentative name),' is also awaiting its winter season opening this year.
SOOP plans to continuously engage with fans by collaborating with KB Live Mobile, the sponsor of the three major eSports leagues, to provide various online user participation events. Various prizes, including tickets to each tournament's finals, gaming monitors, headsets, and keyboards, will also be offered. KB Live Mobile will present various events such as additional data provision for users who enjoy eSports on mobile.
