The drill was carried out under the scenario that Gumi City Hall became unusable due to a national emergency, wartime situation, or natural disaster. Under the protection of military and police security forces, essential personnel quickly boarded vehicles and moved to the evacuation site, flawlessly carrying out their duties for efficient administrative management in a realistic situation.

Prior to the dispersal drill, a pre-training session was held in the city hall's main conference room for essential personnel, covering the procedures for dispersal and relocation. The training also included the roles of the Dispersal Control Unit, the wartime establishment organization, and the specific duties of each team to ensure thorough preparation.

Gumi City plans to master the implementation procedures that connect wartime and peacetime through the 2024 Eulji Exercise, which will be held for four days starting August 19. Through this, the city will review its readiness for various situations and make thorough preparations to protect the precious lives and property of its citizens.
