Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Catholic Social Welfare Society Sign Business Agreement on 'Accounting Transparency Support Project'

The Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants announced on the 20th that it signed a business agreement for the "Accounting Transparency Support Project" with the Catholic Social Welfare Association on the 14th. The signing ceremony was attended by Seo Won-jeong, Executive Vice President of the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants, along with executives and officials from both organizations.

Through this agreement, small-scale welfare facilities operated by the Catholic Social Welfare Association that face difficulties in accounting tasks will be selected to receive customized accounting education through the talent donation of certified public accountants, aiming to enhance the effectiveness of welfare projects and administrative capabilities.


Executive Vice President Seo said, "We hope this will serve as an opportunity to improve transparency and trust in the social welfare field by providing professional accounting education to small-scale welfare facilities," adding, "The Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants will continue to fulfill its social responsibility as a professional organization to contribute to the public interest and strive to build a trustworthy society."


Jung Jin-ho, President of the Catholic Social Welfare Association, expressed, "We sincerely thank the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the accountants who willingly donated their talents, sharing the purpose of strengthening the administrative capabilities of small-scale welfare facilities and enhancing project transparency," and added, "We hope that through accounting education, small-scale welfare facilities will operate transparently and efficiently, helping to establish a foundation for sustainable growth."
