BNK Busan Bank to Sponsor Busan's Major Festival with 370 Million Won Annually

Sponsorship Delivered at Busan City Hall for Busan Festival Development

3.52 Billion Won Over 10 Years... Contributing to Festival Revitalization

BNK Busan Bank held the '2024 Busan Festival Support Sponsorship Ceremony' with the Busan Culture and Tourism Festival Organizing Committee (Busan Festival Committee) at Busan City Hall on the 19th.

Since the first Busan Fireworks Festival held in 2005, Busan Bank has supported individual local festivals every year.

Since 2015, Busan Bank has been directly sponsoring the Busan Festival Committee to ensure the stable hosting of local festivals. The total amount sponsored to the Busan Festival Committee over the past 10 years amounts to 3.52 billion KRW.

Events organized by the Busan Festival Committee include the Busan Old Downtown Revitalization Festival, Busan Port Festival, Busan Sea Festival, Busan International Rock Festival, Busan Fireworks Festival, and the Citizens' Bell Ringing Ceremony. This year, Busan Bank has decided to provide a total of 370 million KRW in support.

Bang Sungbin, President of Busan Bank, said, "We hope that the various festivals in the region will attract more domestic and international tourists to Busan and help the city grow as a global cultural hub," adding, "Busan Bank will continue to spare no effort in supporting the success of local festivals."

Busan Bank is also steadily carrying out social contribution activities for the local community, such as the Busan International Film Festival, Young Artists Art Competition, Busan Maru International Music Festival, and Busan International Theater Festival.
