Sports Career Consulting for University Students and Young Adults
Expert Talk Concert and Group Mentoring in September
The Dong-A University Career Plus Center (Director Shin Yongtaek) will conduct the "2024 On-Site Sports Employment Education" for university students and local youth aspiring to work in the sports industry, in collaboration with the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation Sports Industry Job Center.
The "2024 On-Site Sports Employment Education" aims to provide practical information about the sports industry and opportunities for career exploration to young people and university students in the Busan area, at a time when the demand for professionals in the sports industry is increasing. The program also seeks to lay the foundation for nurturing future experts in the sports sector.
This educational program, scheduled for September 10 at Dong-A University Seunghak Campus, will feature a talk concert and group mentoring sessions with current employees from major domestic sports administrative organizations such as the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, and the Korea Anti-Doping Agency.
During the talk concert and mentoring sessions, current professionals in the sports industry will share practical experiences, recruitment information, and job-seeking know-how.
Additionally, the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation Sports Industry Job Center will dispatch professional consultants to the venue to provide career consulting and counseling in the sports industry for local youth and university students.
Director Shin Yongtaek stated, "Through this educational program, we will provide local youth and university students aspiring to work in the sports industry with opportunities to communicate with current professionals and share job-seeking know-how," adding, "It will help strengthen practical job competitiveness and support systematic job preparation."
Dong-A University will operate the 2024 On-the-Go Sports Employment Education program in collaboration with the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation.
