Held at Jungnang Mangu Space Media Facade
Artists from 8 Countries Participate, Providing Debut Opportunities for Emerging Artists
Jungnang Mangu Space in Jungnang-gu, Seoul announced on the 19th that it held the 2024 Korea Women Visual Designers Association (KWVD) International Video Design Invitational Exhibition, featuring artists from eight countries.

This exhibition was jointly organized and promoted by KWVD and Jungnang-gu to expand the field of cultural and artistic video content and provide debut opportunities for emerging artists.
In particular, the exhibition opened successfully through the active participation of KWVD members and overseas artists, as well as support from Jungnang-gu's cultural and artistic organizations. Since then, many citizens and visitors have come to the media facade site to appreciate the works.
Kim Heesook, KWVD director and professor of Visual Media Design at Namseoul University, who planned the exhibition, said, "Foreign artists participated in this international invitational exhibition based on a deep impression and understanding of the historical significance of Mangu History and Culture Park," adding, "Various episodes before and after the exhibition are being conveyed to the association along with congratulatory messages through SNS."
Lee Jihyun, KWVD president and professor of Industrial Design at Korea National University of Gunsan, stated, "This invitational exhibition was planned as an exhibition pursuing audience aesthetics and the beauty of reception, where citizens and tourists understand and interpret the works," emphasizing, "We will continue to communicate with the public through various platforms including exhibitions together with association members."

The Korea Women Visual Designers Association (KWVD), founded in 1983, has established the status of women designers by emphasizing social participation and roles with over 150 members and overseas designers for 40 years. Through various educational and social contribution activities, it creates public value and plays a pivotal role in the industry while continuously developing.
