The Badminton Korea Association's internal fact-finding committee is investigating injury management, training methods, and senior-junior customs within the national team.
Coach Kim attended the fact-finding committee meeting for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. After the investigation, Coach Kim said, "I spoke honestly about the questions asked." When asked about the need to improve the national team system, he only replied, "I expressed all my opinions."
Coach Kim will not accompany the team to the BWF World Tour Super 750 Japan Open, held from the 20th to the 25th. He will lead the team starting from the Korea Open, held from the 27th to the 1st of next month. An Se-young indicated that she will not participate in either tournament.
