The Eurozone (20 countries using the euro) recorded a trade surplus of 22.3 billion euros (33.2435 trillion won) in June, the European Union (EU) statistical office Eurostat announced on the 16th (local time).
This is an increase of 4.3 billion euros compared to June last year (18 billion euros). Compared to the previous month, May (14 billion euros), it increased by 8.3 billion euros.
During the same period, the Eurozone's exports amounted to 236.7 billion euros, a 6.3% decrease compared to the same period last year (252.5 billion euros). Imports recorded 214.3 billion euros, down 8.6% from the same period last year (234.5 billion euros).
