Seoul City Appoints Former Vision Special Advisor Lee Ji-hyun as New Vision Strategy Special Advisor

"The Right Person to Strengthen Seoul City's Brand"

Seoul City has appointed former Vision Special Advisor Lee Ji-hyun as the Vision Strategy Special Advisor to assist the mayor's policy decisions.

On the 16th, Seoul City announced the appointment, stating, "Special Advisor Lee has a clear vision for Seoul city administration and possesses abundant policy ideas," and added, "She is the right person to realize 'Everyday Revolution Seoul, where specialness becomes everyday,' and to strengthen the Seoul city brand."

The Vision Strategy Special Advisor is a direct advisory position under the mayor responsible for discovering visions and establishing strategies to strengthen the city administration brand, as well as overseeing the promotion of major policies. This role requires a deep understanding of city administration and expertise in the field of public relations.

Born in 1976, Special Advisor Lee has worked for over two years under Mayor Oh Se-hoon’s administration as a Vision Special Advisor, introducing the Seoul city brand 'Seoul My Soul,' leading the character business including the city’s symbolic character Haechi, and popularizing the brand through Seoul goods.

Additionally, she has promoted the subway station innovation project and played a strategic role in upgrading key Seoul city policies such as Seoul Run and Wrist Doctor 9988.

Prior to this, Special Advisor Lee served as a Seoul city council member for the 7th and 8th terms, and held positions such as research fellow at the Yeouido Institute and deputy director at the Barun Policy Research Institute.
