Production Facility to Be Built in Cheonan TP General Industrial Complex, Creating Around 205 Jobs
Cheonan City, Chungnam signed a memorandum of understanding for investment to establish a production facility with Osstem Implant on the 16th.
Cheonan City in Chungnam, which is currently working to attract the National Dental Research Institute, has decided to expand its investment scale with Osstem Implant.
On the 16th, the city signed a memorandum of understanding for investment with Osstem Implant to establish production facilities. Previously, in 2021, the city and Osstem Implant agreed to invest 140 billion KRW to build production facilities in the Cheonan Technopark General Industrial Complex, but under this new agreement, the investment scale will be significantly increased to 370 billion KRW.
According to the agreement, Osstem Implant plans to invest 374.2 billion KRW from this year until 2031 to build new production facilities on an 89,114-square-meter site in the Cheonan Technopark General Industrial Complex, creating approximately 205 new jobs.
The city will provide administrative and financial support to ensure that the investment procedures for Osstem Implant's production facility equipment proceed smoothly.
In particular, the city plans to designate dedicated officials to actively coordinate with individual departments and help shorten the permit approval period.
Mayor Park Sangdon said, "Through this agreement, I hope the cooperative relationship between Cheonan City and the company will be further strengthened," adding, "We will provide full administrative and financial support to ensure that excellent companies like Osstem Implant can settle in Cheonan."
