SPC Shake Shack Confirmed to Open in Daegu Shinsegae Department Store in September

Second Store in Daegu Following Dongseongno Branch

SPC announced on the 16th that Shake Shack will open on the basement first floor of Daegu Shinsegae Department Store in September.

The Shake Shack Daegu Shinsegae store is the second location in Daegu, following the Daegu Dongseongno store which opened in 2020.

Before the opening of the Daegu Shinsegae store, Shake Shack will showcase hoarding art (artworks painted on temporary construction site barriers). Created in collaboration with the artist 'goodmorningtown,' this hoarding art features Shake Shack’s menu items such as burgers, fries, and shakes transformed into characters with goodmorningtown’s unique style, expressing a “joyful daily life with Shake Shack.”

To celebrate the opening of the Daegu Shinsegae store, Shake Shack will hold a pre-opening event. First, customers who find the green ShackBurger attached to the hoarding and post a photo on Instagram will be entered into a draw to win a 10,000 KRW mobile coupon. Additionally, those who add Shake Shack as a Kakao Plus Friend will receive a lemonade coupon that can only be used at the Daegu Shinsegae store.
