'Nugget' is a prepaid fee-based communication platform. It offers a lineup of 18 types of 5G plans, starting with 'Nugget 5G 26 (26,000 KRW per month, 6GB data)', the most affordable 5G plan in the 20,000 KRW range among the three domestic mobile carriers.

LG Uplus signed a "Business Agreement for Providing Nugget Premium Aviation Benefits" with Korean Air. Through this collaboration, subscribers of 'Nugget 5G 59', which offers unlimited 5G data for 59,000 KRW per month, can choose the 'Korean Air Gift Card' as one of their benefits. Customers who select the gift card will receive a Korean Air gift card every month.

The gift card can be used for purchasing international and domestic flights departing from Korea, as well as for additional services such as excess baggage, paid seats, pet transportation, and at the Korean Air brand goods shop (e-SKYSHOP). The usage locations are expected to expand in the future.

LG Uplus plans to continue collaborating with Korean Air to provide differentiated customer experiences to the MZ generation, the main target of Nugget.

Jung Hyun-joo, Executive Director of the Infinista Center at LG Uplus, said, "We signed this collaboration with Korean Air based on the fact that the proportion of people in their 20s and 30s traveling abroad is increasing recently, aiming to provide benefits that users need. We will strive to enable Nugget subscribers to have a new communication experience through various benefits."

Jung Byung-seop, Senior Executive Director of Korean Air, stated, "This collaboration is meaningful because the main demand group of the online gift card market coincides with the main subscriber base of Nugget. We will work to make Korean Air more familiar to people in their 20s and 30s."
