BNK Busan Bank Hosts 'Great Wave - Media Art Emerging Artists Exhibition'

BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) is holding the "Great Wave - Emerging Media Art Artists Exhibition" at the BNK Busan Bank Gallery (BNK Art Cinema, Sinchang-dong, Jung-gu, Busan) until the 20th.

Through this exhibition, Busan Bank is providing a free opportunity to appreciate the creative works of emerging artists who are active at the forefront of contemporary media art.

In addition, the exhibition offers a new form of artistic value by clearly establishing ownership of artworks through NFT (Non-Fungible Token) technology, a form of digital art that can protect the rights of artists.

Kang Seokrae, Head of Management Strategy Division at Busan Bank, said, "I hope this exhibition will help emerging artists engage in stable exhibition activities," and added, "We will continue to work to create an environment where artists can freely pursue their creative activities."

Busan Bank opened the BNK Busan Bank Gallery in 2011 to make culture and art more accessible to local citizens and to expand exhibition opportunities for local artists. To date, more than 340 exhibitions have been held free of charge, and a dedicated curator is assigned to ensure smooth exhibition operations.
