Jung Cheol-dong, President of LG Display, Receives 705 Million KRW in Compensation for First Half of the Year

Jung Cheol-dong, CEO of LG Display, received a salary of 705 million KRW in the first half of this year.


According to the semi-annual report disclosed by LG Display on the 14th, CEO Jung received 705 million KRW in salary for the first half of this year.


CEO Jung received a monthly base salary of 65 million KRW and a monthly role-based pay of 52 million KRW. Additionally, he received a total of 3.8 million KRW separately in the first half of the year according to standards for other welfare benefits.

Former CEO Jung Ho-young received a total of 1.521 billion KRW, including severance pay of 1.17 billion KRW. The severance pay was calculated based on the executive severance pay regulations, considering the executive's tenure (2024), monthly base salary at retirement, and position-based payment rates (2.5~4.5%).


Meanwhile, the average salary per person at LG Display in the first half of this year recorded 43 million KRW, an increase of 2 million KRW compared to 41 million KRW in the first half of last year.
