Sinsung ENG unveils cleanroom technology that has driven the growth of the domestic display industry.
On the 14th, Sinsung ENG announced that it will participate in the '2024 K-Display Industry Exhibition' held at COEX until the 16th.
Founded in 1977, Sinsung ENG contributed to the development of the display industry by domesticating the FFU (Fan Filter Unit), a core cleanroom equipment, for the first time in Korea. A cleanroom refers to a clean space essential for semiconductor, display, secondary battery, and bio production.
The FFU, an industrial air purifier, controls ultrafine dust through advanced air control technology, enhancing product quality and yield. Currently, Sinsung ENG holds more than 60% of the domestic market share in this field.
In addition, the company introduces cleanroom-related equipment developed based on advanced air control technologies, including ▲ 'OAC (Outside Air Conditioner)' that cleans contaminated air entering from outside and supplies it indoors ▲ 'WSS' that removes ionic pollutants in the air ▲ 'Airflow Interlocking System' that maintains airflow environment in the normal direction ▲ 'Particle Visualization System' that detects ultrafine dust.
A Sinsung ENG official said, "We are unveiling innovative equipment developed based on differentiated air control technology," adding, "We will continue research and development to build an optimal advanced industrial environment and lead the domestic and international display industry."
Celebrating its 23rd year this year, the exhibition is the largest display exhibition in Korea where the latest display technologies and products can be seen. The two major domestic panel companies, which possess the world’s top technology in the organic light-emitting diode (OLED) field, along with numerous domestic and international material, component, and equipment companies, are participating in large numbers.
