Business Agreement with North Gyeongsang Province and Gumi City
Gyeongbuk Province, Gumi City, and Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) signed a business agreement on the collective sale of shared ownership rights at Gumi City Hall's main conference room on the 14th, aiming to efficiently sell idle and underutilized national and public assets.
The signing ceremony was attended by Lee Nameok, Head of the Airport Investment Headquarters of Gyeongbuk Province, Kim Youngcheol, Director of the Economic Bureau of Gumi City, and Kim Wondae, Head of KAMCO's Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters. The agreement was prepared to enhance the utilization of idle and underutilized national and public assets and to contribute to revitalizing the local economy.

The main content of the agreement is that KAMCO will be entrusted with the shared ownership rights of national and public assets and will sell them collectively. The land subject to sale is an industrial site in Bongsan-ri, Sandong-eup, Gumi City, Gyeongbuk Province, with an area of 63,890.8 square meters.
The individual publicly announced land price is 11,954 million KRW, with the Ministry of Economy and Finance holding 75%, Gyeongbuk Province 12.5%, and Gumi City 12.5% of the ownership.
KAMCO plans to sell the site through a general competitive bidding on Onbid starting at the end of August, targeting those intending to operate one of the 16 manufacturing businesses classified under the Korean Standard Industrial Classification for tenants of Gumi National Industrial Complex Management Basic Plan Gumi Complex 4.
Kim Wondae, Head of KAMCO's Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters, who attended the signing ceremony, stated, "I hope that this agreement will restore the value of national and public assets that have high potential but have remained unused due to complex ownership relationships. KAMCO will continue to listen to the voices of the people and will seek and expand ways to enhance the utilization of national assets and contribute to revitalizing the local economy."
Kim Youngcheol, Director of the Economic Bureau of Gumi City, said, "I hope that companies signing sales contracts through the general competitive bidding of national and public assets will contribute to job creation and revitalization of the local economy. Gumi City promises to provide full administrative and financial support for the investment and production activities of these companies."
Lee Nameok, Head of the Airport Investment Headquarters of Gyeongbuk Province, remarked, "This business agreement will serve as an important opportunity to inject new vitality into the local economy through the efficient sale of industrial land in Gumi Complex 4. We will continue to make various efforts for regional development and economic revitalization."
