BNK Gyeongnam Bank and Volunteers Serve Samgyetang to Over 300 Seniors for Boknal

Changwon Special City Mayor Hong Nam-pyo and his spouse participated in the "Boknal Love Special Meal Event" held at the Jinhaeseobu Senior Welfare Center during lunchtime on the 14th, where they volunteered to serve Samgyetang, a nourishing chicken soup, to seniors visiting the center to help them cope with the summer heat.

This sharing event, which resumed after being suspended since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was attended by Gyeongnam Bank President Ye Kyung-tak and his spouse, employees from the social contribution team, and volunteers. They prepared Samgyetang and seasonal dishes to revitalize the bodies and minds of seniors exhausted from the heat, serving them to over 300 people from marginalized groups, including elderly individuals living alone.

Mayor Hong expressed his gratitude by saying, "Even in this sweltering weather where sweat pours down just by standing still, I am thankful for the hard work of the BNK Gyeongnam Bank staff and all the volunteers. Let us never forget the gratitude we owe to the seniors who built today's Korea, and continue to serve them together."
