Kumho Construction to Hold Binding Contracts for 'Goyang Janghang Atera' for 3 Days Starting from the 26th

Average Competition Rate for First Priority Subscription 30.7 to 1
First Metropolitan Area 'Atera' Complex
Reasonable Price Due to Application of Sale Price Ceiling System

‘Goyang Janghang Atera,’ which recorded the highest subscription competition rate in the Janghang district of Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province, will begin official contracts from the 26th.

Kumho Construction announced that it has completed the subscription for ‘Goyang Janghang Atera,’ supplied in Block B-3 of the Janghang district, and will proceed with official contracts over three days from the 26th to the 28th.


As a result of the first-priority subscription on the 6th, excluding special supply, a total of 9,398 applications were received for 306 households, recording an average competition rate of 30.7 to 1. All housing types were closed in the first priority. A Kumho Construction official explained, "Following the early sell-out success of ‘Cheongju Technopolis Atera’ launched last month within two weeks, this complex also recorded the highest competition rate in the Janghang district in the first-priority subscription, raising expectations for an early sell-out."


The complex will be built on 529-26 Janghang-dong, Goyang City, consisting of 8 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to a maximum of 29 floors above ground, with a total of 760 households. All units are composed of 84㎡ exclusive area, which is highly preferred by buyers.


‘Atera’ Product Differentiation

‘Goyang Janghang Atera’ is the first sales complex in the metropolitan area after Kumho Construction launched its new residential brand ‘Atera,’ with differentiated product features. All units are mainly arranged facing south to maximize lighting and ventilation efficiency, and various landscaping elements have been introduced within the complex. The ground level is designed as a ‘car-free park-style apartment’ to enhance residential comfort.


It also offers price merits. As a public housing district sales complex, the price ceiling system is applied, resulting in a reasonable sale price compared to surrounding market prices. The Janghang district, where the complex is located, is a public housing district planned for about 1.96 million square meters of land area in Janghang-dong, Ilsandong-gu, Goyang City, with a population of approximately 27,000 and about 11,800 households. Additionally, as a rare private sale complex within the Janghang district, it has a relatively lower subscription threshold compared to public sales, adding value.


The complex boasts excellent living infrastructure. It is adjacent to Hallyu World, making it easy to move to neighboring areas, and access to Janghang IC and Hallyu World IC is convenient via nearby Jayuro and 2nd Jayuro roads. Madu Station on Line 3 is located 6 minutes away by car, and the Kintex Station (tentative name) on the GTX A line of the metropolitan area express railway is also about to open, further improving accessibility to Seoul and nearby metropolitan areas. Kumho Construction stated, "With systematically established living infrastructure and a series of large-scale development benefits around, there is a high possibility of becoming the largest hub city in the western Gyeonggi region in the future."


The educational environment is also excellent. Janghang Elementary School, scheduled to open in September this year, as well as kindergarten, middle school, and high school sites are within walking distance, ensuring safe commuting for students. Baekma academy district and Kintex academy district are also nearby.


Residents can enjoy high-quality living infrastructure. Shopping and cultural facilities such as Lotte Department Store Ilsan Branch, Hyundai Department Store Kintex Branch, Kintex, Lafesta, and One Mount, as well as Traders Home Sale Club, Costco Ilsan Branch, Inje University Ilsan Paik Hospital, and Ilsan Lake Park and the Han River are close by, providing a pleasant residential environment.


Abundant Development Benefits

Based on abundant development benefits, it also has high future value. The Goyang Ilsan Technovalley is being developed on about 870,000㎡ in Daehwa-dong and Beopgot-dong with a total project cost of approximately 850 billion KRW to attract innovative companies in bio-medical, media content, and advanced manufacturing sectors.

A Kumho Construction official said, "Goyang Janghang Atera is the first applied complex in the metropolitan area after launching Atera, with great effort put into site selection, design, and community features throughout the product. As a public land sale complex with price ceiling system applied, it offers a reasonable sale price and allows residents to enjoy the high future value of the Janghang district area, so we expect it to lead to a complete sell-out."
