At around 5:12 PM on the 13th, a fire broke out at the outdoor unit on the 7th floor of an apartment in Mia-dong, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, causing 30 residents to evacuate.
According to the fire authorities on the 14th, the Gangbuk Fire Station in Seoul responded to the fire report and proceeded to extinguish the fire. Although 30 people evacuated due to the fire, fortunately, there were no casualties.
The fire authorities dispatched 78 personnel and 21 vehicles, completely suppressing the fire within about 20 minutes of the report.
The fire caused property damage amounting to 9.23 million won, including damage to the air conditioner outdoor unit.
The fire authorities and police are investigating the cause of the fire.
