Hurim A-Tech, a specialized company in automotive interior and exterior materials, recorded a profit in the first half of this year after its largest shareholder changed to Hurim Robot.
Hurim A-Tech announced on the 14th that its sales and operating profit in the first half of this year increased by 48% and 58% respectively compared to the same period last year, reaching 35.9 billion KRW and 2.5 billion KRW. Net profit for the same period also grew by 75%, recording 2.4 billion KRW.
Since the change of the largest shareholder in May 2022, Hurim A-Tech has continued strong performance in its core business of automotive interior and exterior materials. In particular, Hurim A-Tech is operating both the Miryang plant and the Asan plant simultaneously to strengthen its capabilities in the core interior and exterior materials business, systematically managing operations to ensure stable supply to its customers.
A Hurim A-Tech representative said, “Since acquiring the Asan plant last year and expanding the product lineup, sales have increased steadily, maintaining a record of nine consecutive quarters of profit. Going forward, we will operate the Asan and Miryang plants with a two-track strategy to continue our core business of automotive interior and exterior materials, which embodies the spirit of the company, and aim for performance growth through production efficiency, expanded supply, and high-quality product manufacturing.”
Meanwhile, Hurim A-Tech has maintained nine consecutive quarters of profit based on operating profit since the change of its largest shareholder in 2022.
