Oceanhall at Main Branch Hosts Ongals Comedy Performance
International Comedy Festival Receives 50 Million Won Support
BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) held the cultural performance 'Play on Busan' at the Ocean Hall of its headquarters on the 13th.
'Play on Busan' is a cultural event organized to provide local residents with opportunities to enjoy culture and to support the development of local cultural organizations. Citizens enjoyed a variety of free content including classical music, Korean traditional music, comedy, and movies. This cultural performance is held regularly once a month throughout the year, featuring a diverse range of shows.
BNK Busan Bank is holding the cultural performance "Play on Busan" at the Ocean Hall of Busan Bank headquarters in Busan.
Busan Bank transformed its 420-seat main auditorium, equipped with state-of-the-art video and audio facilities, from a workspace into a stage for cultural performances and invited citizens visiting Busan to attend.
The first performance on this stage featured a non-verbal comedy show by Ongals, a team participating in the Busan International Comedy Festival. In September, a concert will be presented in collaboration with the Busan Maru International Music Festival.
Bang Seongbin, President of Busan Bank, said, "I hope that Busan will continue to grow as a city of culture through this Play on Busan cultural performance," adding, "We will do our best to create opportunities for citizens to enjoy rich and diverse cultural arts."
On this day, Busan Bank also donated 50 million KRW to the organizing committee of the 12th Busan International Comedy Festival, a representative local cultural festival, to support its successful hosting.
