At Suncheon Culture and Arts Center: Korean Painting, Portraits, Abstract Art, and More
An exhibition by artist Yoon Mira, who 'expresses the inner world of humans through external forms,' will be held under the title "The Meaning of Existence" at the Suncheon Culture and Arts Center from the 21st to the 26th for six days.
This exhibition offers a time to indulge in existence beyond concepts, showcasing over 70 works including Korean paintings, portraits, and abstract paintings that provide a glimpse into an aesthetic sense freely traversing the human inner world.
Based on theological and humanities nourishment, Yoon freely crosses genres such as Korean painting and portraiture.
In the process of breaking away from existing concepts and transformation, she explored life from various perspectives and translated it into paintings.
In particular, Yoon says she devoted herself to her work while striving to contemplate rebellion, inner insight, and an autonomous life through Camus's "The Stranger."
From the ordinary and simple life of daily living, through steady and continuous philosophical thinking and artistic activity, she persistently seeks and explores newness, breaking away from fixed ideas.
Yoon revealed that she finds solace in the fact that this exhibition brings forth latent intrinsic emotions under the philosophical discourse and guidance of her mentor, Soje Park Chunmook.
