Discussion on Discovering Collaborative Projects Between Two Agencies Utilizing Public Data and Services
Suggestions for Reviewing and Promoting Cooperation in Public Data and Data-Based Administration
Korea National Oil Corporation (President Kim Dongseop) signed a business agreement with Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (Chairman Ahn Jongju) at the Oil Corporation headquarters to promote the activation of public data and data-driven administration.

This agreement was pursued to establish a mutual cooperation system between Korea National Oil Corporation and Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, both public institutions in the Ulsan region, to expand the provision and use of public data and to improve the quality of public services through scientific administration.
Through this agreement, the two organizations agreed to discover, analyze, and utilize collaborative projects that can contribute to the national economy by utilizing public data and services owned by each institution, and to conduct public relations activities. They also agreed to mutually cooperate in newly opening public data by integrating the data held by each institution.
In addition, the two organizations agreed to regularly exchange ideas to discuss cooperation and activation measures regarding the provision and use of public data and data-driven administration, and promised to continue ongoing cooperation, including mutual support of professional personnel, to achieve tangible results.
Shin Yonghwa, Head of Management Support Division at Korea National Oil Corporation, who attended the signing ceremony, said, "By establishing a mutual cooperation system between the two organizations, which possess vast amounts of public data in the fields of oil supply information and industrial safety and health, we can create great synergy." He added, "We will continue to make efforts to contribute to the realization of the digital platform government, which is a national agenda, through ongoing cooperation."
