CJ Logistics Warehouse to Be Established in Incheon Port E-commerce Special Zone... Operation Starting in 2026

CJ Logistics will establish an e-commerce logistics center in the Incheon Port hinterland complex.

Incheon Port Authority (IPA) signed a business entry promotion contract with CJ Logistics, Korea's No. 1 comprehensive logistics company, on the 13th at the CJ Human Resources Development Center in Seoul.

According to this contract, CJ Logistics plans to build a logistics center with two above-ground floors and a total floor area of 29,064㎡ in the e-commerce specialized zone of the Incheon Port Aam Logistics Complex 2 by the first half of 2026. Construction will begin in the first half of next year after completing procedures such as building permits and lease contracts.

The center will operate as a Global Distribution Center (GDC) for e-commerce, where products from overseas companies will be imported, stored, sorted, and repackaged according to overseas individual orders for delivery.

IPA expects that once the center is fully operational, it will generate an annual cargo volume of 6,524 TEU (1 TEU equals one 20-foot container) and create a total production inducement effect of 4.4 trillion KRW over the 30-year operation period.

Lee Kyung-gyu, President of IPA, stated, "We will prepare various measures to actively support tenant companies in line with the explosive increase in e-commerce cargo at Incheon Port."
