Park Yongho (59, Judicial Research and Training Institute class 22), former head of the Masan Branch of the Changwon District Prosecutors' Office, and Park Seunghwan (58, Judicial Research and Training Institute class 27), former head of the Major Economic Crimes Investigation Division at the Changwon District Prosecutors' Office, both former "special investigation prosecutors," have concluded their 30-year careers as prosecutors and begun working as attorneys at Law Firm Ijin.
Through an official announcement on June 12 regarding the opening of their law practice, former Branch Chief Park and former Division Head Park stated, "We are starting anew as attorneys after wrapping up about 30 years of service as prosecutors," adding, "We will do our utmost to provide the best legal services, always standing on the side of the underprivileged."

The opening ceremony was attended by Joo Seoksu, Mayor of Yeonje-gu, Busan, Kwon Jongheon, Chairman of the Yeonje-gu Council, Lim Seungcheol, Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Busan High Prosecutors' Office, Yeom Jeonguk, President of the Busan Bar Association, and others.
Attorney Park graduated from Miryang High School in Gyeongnam and Hanyang University, and began his career as a prosecutor at the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office in 1993. He later served as Chief Prosecutor at the Changwon District Prosecutors' Office, Head of the Criminal Division 5 at the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office, Head of the Criminal Division 3 at the Busan Eastern Branch, and as Branch Chief in Sokcho, Jinju, and Masan. He mainly handled special investigations, public security, and violent crime cases.
Notably, in 2003, during the Daegu subway arson incident that resulted in over 200 fatalities, he was dispatched from the Special Investigation Division of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office to Daegu, where he led the investigation for over 40 days. In 1998, while serving in the Special Investigation Division at the Changwon District Prosecutors' Office, he led a crackdown on the "Bukmasan Choi Jaegu Group," a violent gang that had been terrorizing innocent citizens, resulting in the arrest of over 50 members.
Attorney Park Seunghwan began his public service as a prosecutor at the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office. He subsequently served as a prosecutor at the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office, Chief of the Cheonan Branch of the Daejeon District Prosecutors' Office, Head of the Criminal Division 3 at the Busan District Prosecutors' Office, Head of the Criminal Division 3 at the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office, professor at the Legal Research and Training Institute, Human Rights Supervisor at the Busan District Prosecutors' Office, and prosecutor at both the Seoul and Busan High Prosecutors' Offices. Since 2022, he worked at the Major Economic Crimes Investigation Division of the Changwon District Prosecutors' Office, and retired in June after concluding his tenure as division head.
During his time as Chief Prosecutor at the Busan, Incheon, and Chuncheon District Prosecutors' Offices, he was responsible for major investigations in key divisions such as the Violent Crimes, Special Investigation, and Public Security Divisions. He and Attorney Park Yongho are alumni of Hanyang University.
