Applications Accepted from August 12 to 20
Yangsan City in Gyeongnam Province is recruiting the third group of participants for the "Daily Life Off, Yangsan On" program, which offers the opportunity to travel and live like a local in Yangsan for a month. Applications will be accepted from August 12 to 20.
The program is open to individuals aged 19 or older who reside outside the Gyeongnam region. Approximately 15 teams (1-2 people per team) will be selected. Participants can freely travel in Yangsan for 6 to 30 days between September 1 and October 31.
Participants will be given promotional missions related to Yangsan tourism. Upon completing these missions, they will receive support for accommodation expenses (50,000 KRW per day) and experience fees (70,000 to 100,000 KRW). The list of selected participants will be announced on the website on August 26.
This year, to encourage foreign participation, foreigners and overseas Koreans will be given priority selection and applications from these groups will be accepted at any time, not limited to the official recruitment period.
A Yangsan City official stated, "We hope many people interested in the lifestyle-based local tourism trend will participate in the Yangsan One Month Travel program. We also hope that participants will promote Yangsan tourism through their personal social media, attracting many tourists to our city."
